Difficulty In Swallowing, Clinches Her Fists In Sleep, Changes In Vision. Resembles Scleroderma Symptoms?

Yes, please. My niece, age 45, has had symptoms that her dr says are symptomatic of scleroderma. She has difficulty swallowing, can't sleep sitting up because she can't breath. She clinches her fists in her sleep and has had changes in vision over the last 2 yrs requiring two types of corrective lenses, one for driving and one for computer work. Does this resemble scleroderma symptoms?

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
I would have been able to respond to your query if you had given a little more detailed history. According to the symptoms you have elaborated, its unlikely to related to scleroderma.
You are telling that, your niece can't sleep sitting-is it because she has any nasal obstruction. Ask her to do little brisk exercise just before going to sleep. It may help.
If not, please comeback with a detailed history.
