Difficulty Swallowing. Safe To Have Upper GI Endoscopy Done?
My husband and i saw a gastroenterologist today for an initial assessment for trouble swallowing. He was TERRIBLE!!!! Abrupt, rude, did not make eye contact, brushed off our questions; could go on and on. There were no other patients in his waiting room. We took the appointment because there was only a 4 week wait to see him - the others were about a 6 month wait. He booked an upper GI endoscopy for us.
Is it safe to have the procedure with him, or should we go on a waiting list to see another doctor?

the dr might be in some kind of stress at that time..what i suggest you is as he is having 6 month wait seems that he is experienced and good,,
get the endoscopy done as health and well being of your husband is most important for you..
get the endoscopy done and consult another gastroenterologist and can have a secon opinion
as early as possible see the dr,,,bye take care
