I am44 year old female
having difficulty taking deep breaths especially after eating but intermittenly throughout the day, always feel fatigued, feel fullness and tightness in my chest off and on for months and some difficulty swallowing. Had an echocardiogram and stress test 8 months ago which were fairly normal, but had high blood pressure and cholesterol and now taking medication. My concern is continued problem with trying to get breaths throughout the day having to cough and yawn to try to get breath. CBC and CMP were normal. Recently had CT scan of abd and pelvic for low back pain and stomach pain, urinating frequently. Tests showed complex cyst in right ovary, degenerative disc disease/arthritis, and athersclerosis in abd aorta with several plaque places to the iliac arteries. U/A normal except lots of crystals and blood pressure is normal on Lisinopril/HCTZ 10 mg. My pcp was steering me towards a GI doc, but I have appt with cardiologist next week. Which do you think I should see? The SOB is very debilitating through the day. I do have some pain in calves today as well but no redness or swelling. Take 81mg ASA qd as well.
