Discomfort And Pain In The Roof Mouth, Swollen And Sore. What's This ?
Ive been having serious discomfort and pain in the roof of my mouth when ever I eat it hurts so bad and it s swollen bad on one side and swollen a little on the other and I took a picture of the roof of my mouth and it dosent look terrible but there is a little sore on the bad swollen part like it had been scratched to hard or something and I don t have any stds by the mouth or anything and I ve had it now for like 3 days.
You seem to be suffering from an acute episode of tonsillitis or tonsillopharyngitis or just plain pharyngitis which is progressing on to a full infection. The definitive diagnosis can only be made on proper examination Consult an ENT immediately and start on definitive treatment. If the pain is more you may even start with a couple of injections which may provide you better immediate relief.
Take lost of warm fluids and do not strain your voice
If the problem recurs then evaluate the possibility of undergoing a tonsillectomy surgery which can relieve your symptoms to a better extent
