Discomfort In Left Side Of Chest, Trouble Breathing, Feeling Of Heart Sinking In, Sleeplessness Due To This Fear. Help

Hello Doctor, I am a 20yr old male experiencing discomfort in the left side of my chest. I can clearly perceive, that the pain is related to my heart, as I have some trouble breathing. I often get this feeling of my heart sinking in, particularly in sleep and for almost two days I am not able to sleep properly, because my heart sinks in as If it has stopped working, and then I get worried and get up.

Since your age is just 20 years old and you are feeling breathlessness or difficulty in breathing so may be due to ,
1 asthmatic allergic bronchitis ,
2 heart ailment
3 Most probable reason in my opinion after going through your query , may be psychogenic reason.
In my opinion first consult a physician and get his opinion , if no disease then consult a psychiatrist and get his treatment .
