Let me clarify that a given symptom/ set of symptoms in medicine can be due to various causes. For example dizziness can be due to several causes like low hemoglobin, low heart rate etc. Some people with dizziness actually have vertigo and they perceive it as dizziness. Based upon the symptoms that you have posted i dont feel that you have serious neurological problem. My advise to you will be to get examined by a physician and get interviewed by him so that the symptoms that you have described will be clarified. Once the symptoms are clarified by a physician, it will be easy for us to deal the case. If nothing comes out and you want to rule out sleep paralysis, you can visit a sleep medicine consultant and get an overnight polysomnography followed by multiple sleep latency study. These tests will rule out a remote possibility of narcolepsy. Hope you got it
