Dizziness, Bright Vision, Headache, Seeing White Dots, Had Smoke. What Is This?

HI, i got up like at 11, had a fag, half an hour later... had another one... came down stairs, got some crisps and a bar of chocolate and then come upstairs and had another fag... i came downstairs and made a toastie and then was drying up and went really dizzy and my vision went really bright like i was looking into the sun and i got a headache and felt sick and could see white dots. what is this?

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

Your symptoms could most probably be a result of migraine with visual aura.

In this condition, the sufferer sees flashes of light or dots, etc in one half of vision (sometimes both sides also), this is called visual aura.

After a few minutes, this is followed by headache, which is often on one side of head (sometimes, whole head). Headache lasts for 4-72 hours, and may be accompanied with nausea or vomiting.

You should consult a neurologist for evaluation and treatment.
