Dizziness, Crackling In Ears, Pressure In Nose, Bigger Tonsil. Possible Reason?

I have dizziness off balance feeling for the past 7 months, also have cracklings in my ears and pressure sometime at the top of my nose. My tonsil seem to be bigger then normal but not sure. I have been to my family doctor who says there is nothing in my ears. He has referred me to an ent and neurologist but afraid appointments may be to far out.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello,
Giddiness and crackling sounds or as the technical term tinnitus is a dangerous combination. There are many simple problems which can cause the same but it is highly recommended that you consult and ENT as soon as possible.
the doctor will probably do the following which can act like your checklist:
1. complete examination of the Ear and nose and throat and neurological examination
2. an audiological examination called the PTA
3. CT/MRI of the inner ear and temporal bones to rule out causes such as tumours
4. after all these are confirmed then along with routine anti vertigo medications make sure the doctors tells you about the vestibular rehabilitation exercises which are an important part of the treatment strategy
regards
