Dizziness, Headache, Tiredness, Sleeplessness After Taking Multiple Tablets Of Temtabs And Then Stopping Them. Tender Bruise On Left Calf Muscle. Advice

i have been dizzy, having headaches, feeling tired and not sleeping the last couple of nights. i have been taking 2 x 10mg temtabs up until saturday night, then on sunday i took 3 x 10mg temtabs as my doctor said to try 3 tablets as i was not sleeping the full night. i took 3 tablets on sunday and haven't taken any since as i have developed these symptoms. i flew to darwin on tuesday 6/8 and flew back to brisbane on sunday 11/8. i also have a bruise on my left calf muscle which is tender. i don't know if these symptoms are from the flights or from the stopping of taking the temtabs.

Hello,
I wanted to know how long you have been taking Tab. Temazepam? If for longer than 2-3 weeks and then suddenly stopped and then you are getting these symptoms, probably its withdrawal of Temazepam. In this case you should taper this medicine slowly over a period of 3-4 weeks.
If this tablet was started just for sleep, then it is possible that dizziness, headache, tiredness is occurring because of lack of proper sleep, the travel can be a reason behind this lack of sleep.
It happens that decrease sleep is a symptom of depression, anxiety disorder or stress in general. Please see if there are any other features that you have of above.
For only sleep problem you can take Tab. Zolpidem or Tab. Zaleplon as and when basis after consulting your local doctor. These are less dependent prone than Temazepam or other benzodiazepine.
