Dizziness, Low BP, High Pulse Rate, Nasal Mucus. Treatment Options?

Hello, I am a 28 year old female and have been feeling lightheaded and dizzy for three days now. My blood pressure is 103 over 63 and pulse of 103 while laying down for ten minutes. I am going through a cold producing light colored mucus . The lightheaded feeling is my concern, i do get sick often and never been lightheaded like this. Is there anything I can do for it, or let it run it s course. Thank you

Dear friend, welcome to HCM!

Present symptoms are not apparently concerning.
Nose block during cold can block eustachean tube and resultant pressure changes can cause lightheadedness.

Just take decongestants, steam inhalation at home, try valsalva (gentle blowing out with mouth and nose closed with hand).

It will be alright in its due course.
If there is fever, chills, throat pain etc. please take antibiotics under medical guidance.

Take care and please keep me informed of your progress.
Good Luck!
I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily.
Thank you!

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
Your dizziness could be a part of your viral infection and having block in a tube which connects our ears and Throat (EUC) but if you have low BP take lot fof fluid may be ORS or fruit juices or coconut water.
keep yourself well hydrated and if any fever a paracetamol may help.
It should recover in few days, but if you are in trouble see a ENT surgeon and take treatment take care as simple flu ? swine flu is spreading every where so it is always wise to consult a Doctor to see every thing is fine.
Good luck to you
