Dear sir/ Madam thanks for writing to HCM. 1. Transient giddiness lasting for few seconds may be related to postural hypotension, a bad blood supply to brain or faulty balancing mechanism of body. 2. Postural hypotension can be detected by simple measurement of Blood pressure in GP office. A bad blood supply to brain needs evaluation by a neurologist. A faulty balancing mechanism is usually tackled by neurologist or an ENT (ear nose throat) specialist. First you visit your physician, get a primary evaluation and then seek relevant expert opinion. sincerely Sukhvinder
