Dizzy Spells, Fatigue, Weak Stomach For 10 Days. What Could Be This?

My 20 year old son has had dizzy spells, fatigue, and a weak stomach for about 10 days now. After about 5 days of experiencing these symptoms, he saw his doctor who checked his vital signs. He did not seem too concerned and said a bug was going around. He's still not much better. Should we be concerned or just continue to rest, hydrate, and let this pass?

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare Magic!
The youngman has been sick over 10 days by now which is sufficient time by which usual bugs like dysentery, viral infection etc. should show recovery.
Your son should be examined by a local physician and he should also be investigated for his poor health. A complete blood counts, liver function tests, hepatitis viral markers for A, B, c and E type virused and an ultrasound of whole abdomen should be done as a reasonable work up to look into the diagnoses
I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you.
Take Care!
