The amlodipine is known to produce ankle swelling with fluid retention via its adverse effects. The hydrochlorthiazide is associated with multiple electrolyte disturbances as low levels of potassium, sodium, calcium giving clinical symptoms as per the severity basis. However, further management would require consultation with your treating physician, stopping of amlodipine would help great extent at present in your condition. Be cautious to control salt intake in the diet on regular basis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
