Do Bifilac And Taxim Cause Bloody Green Stools In An Infant?
Hi doctor, My baby is 46 days old.she has blood strands in her stools.she was on breastfeed and on top of it formula fed before the blood strand was seen.my paediatrician suggested to take bifulac 1.25 ml and taxim o 0.6 ml twice a day.i have her a day and now the stools are green in colour with minimum blood.what causes green color stool and how to get rid of the blood.
Hello dear, Green color of stool may be due to diarrhea in which intestinal contents moves fast so bile acid does not break completely and its appear in stool which is green in color. Consult with gastroenterologist for full check up. Bifilac and Taxim does not cause bloody green stools in an infant.
Hope this advice help you. Thank you. Take care
