Do Cytotec Pills, Help In Terminating Pregnancy?
Hi doctor good day!im nenet I m 39 yrs old I m pregnant 2month and 6 days now,I already take a cytotec on September 5 then I m bleeding 6days then stop after 3 days bleeding again then stop again,after 10days I d try to pregnancy test but it s positive again,I m depress because 10 tablets I take In one time,today i try pregnancy test again I m upset because positive again,do I take cytotec again doctor?pls help me to sold my problem because I m am not prepared for this,thanks

It is recommended that you use 4 tablets (800 mg) in the vagina or sublingually (under your tongue until it dissolves) every three hours for a maximum of three doses. Taking one tablet by mouth is an inadequate dose.
Furthermore, Cytotec can cause birth defects if the pregnancy continues. So at this point I strongly recommend you consult with a local physician to determine if the pregnancy is still viable and if it is, you may proceed with medical or surgical termination. The doctor will need to do an ultrasound to determine the exact gestational age of the pregnancy and to recommend the best option for further management.
