Do Depo Shots Cause Unexplained Crying?
I started the depo shot roughly 6 months ago but in the last couple of months I keep wanting to cry out of the blue and just get says where I feel miserable for no reason. I don t have anything in my life that would make me feel like this so wondered if the shot was starting to maybe effect my hormones as I have nothing to make me feel like this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank Hannah

This isn't that unusual and there are other reasons such as seasonal affective disorder for depression.
Obviously trying other measures of birth control are a way to find out. It should only take a month or two to find out.
