Do Duphaston And Primolut Help In Getting Periods?
Hello doctor, i have pcos and have had 17 weeks miscarriage in nov 2016. It was caused of rupture of my water bag. I was prescribed progyluton followed by primolut nor for one month after my d&c which took place on 7th dec. one month after i delivered the 17th week baby. I had my periods with the pills which i took for 2 months. I.e dec and jan. And now my last lmp is 6th feb i took clomid 100 mg in feb expecting periods wss 6th mRch. No periods yet. Urine test negative no pregnancy symptoms either I wanted to ask can i take duphaston or primolut nor to induce my periods. Because i dont rem when wss the last tiem i had my periods without pills. I got married in oct 2015. And i am 30 yrs old
In my opinion, you should not take these pills on your own because they are having active female reproductive hormones.
Better to consult a gynecologist and get done detailed hormone levels to find out specific hormone imbalance. You will need specific hormone pills to regulate hormones. Don't worry, you will be alright once your hormones normalize.
