Do Duphaston Tablets Help In Preventing Unwanted Pregnancy?

Hi Ive missed my periods last 2month.. march 20 i got my periods and sfill may 30 i didnt get my periods... last month i had sex with my husband.... but now i dont want babie... i used duphaston tablets ... is this helpful for abortion... pls tell me

Hi I think duphaston is not the medicine for abortion. Do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If positive, Consult a gynecologist if you don't want pregnancy. There are medicines available like unwanted kit. But you should take it under supervision only as it can have side effects like excessive pain and bleeding. Hope it helps.
