I want to share information about feeling sick after using eye drops for a cataract procedure. I had started on a muscle relaxer for my back, the same time I had my right eye procedure. I thought the muscle relaxer was making me sick. After the second day of the surgery, I decided not to take the muscle relaxer anymore, so after applying the drops that morning, I began to feel that sickening feel. Sick on the stomach, headache and just didn t want to do anything. I am using Ilevro, Gentamicin and Durezol. I am sharing my experience to help someone else. Not. Looking for an answer from the doctor. I just assume I am allergic to the medication. However, I can t wait to have the cataract removed from my left eye. Things are so much clearer in my right eye.
