Do German Shepherds Trigger Asthma?

Hi, I am twenty five years old. I would like to have a German Sheperd but I hear they trigger allergy and asthma problems. I never had asthma previously, I used to have a Rotweiler earlier. I dont like when dogs lick on my feat and I dont feel that good when I spend that good when I spent too much time with them. Now I have a local breed. Could anyone please advice.

Because of the thick fur, it is possible that owning one of these dogs may trigger an allergic response.

You may want to consider visiting a friend with such a dog or going to a shelter and see if interaction does cause any problem.
