Do I Get A Heavy Period If I Stop Taking Norethistrone?

i am going on holiday on friday , i was due on my period thursday evening .. my doctor told me to start taking norethisterone 2 days before i was due. so i started taking them tuesday morning .. tuesday night i started to bleed a little and i still am. i have only taken 3 norethisterone. if i stop taking them now will i have a really heavy period for my holiday ? or if i carry on taking them will the bleeding stop?
