Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Carbimazole is used to treat Hyperthyroidism or over active thyroid.
You have Hyperthyroidism because your TSH test result is low.
Your thyroid hormones are within the range (for the moment ) and this means that because of the effects of Carbimazole in the thyroid, actually you are in euthyroid state. At the other side you may have side effects of Carbimazole. High liver enzymes pruritis and alterations in the blood formula are important signs that must be taken in consideration by your treating endocrinologist. In your circumstances,it is necessary to decrease the dose of Carbimazole at the minimum in order to have minimalize the side effects of the medication.
You should not take Carbimazole life long.
My advice is to discuss with your treating doctor about the definitive treatment(surgery or RAI treatment) of your thyroid condition that produce your Hyperthyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
