Do Mandanol Nasal Drops Help In Treating Bronchitis In A Child?
Hi my little boy is 4 and half months old and has been diagnosed with bronculitis, he s okay and doesn t need oxygen as we have been the hospital an just been told to treat him with paracetamol but I have sterile mandanol nasal drops for him but it has no information with the box. I was just wondering will this help him with his breathing? Thanks
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child is having symptoms of bronchitis. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are either due to poor immunity of body and leftover infection. Sometimes it is due to increased susceptibility of body of getting infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take benadryl twice a day and keep yourself hydrated and eat light and non spicy. You should take proper course of antibiotics. Avid taking outside food. Yes Mandanol nasal drops are very effective in resolving your problems. Visit pulmonologist once and get complete examination done. You should get blood tests done. Doctor may give adrenal short to prevent anaphylaxis and prescribe anti inflammatory along with immunosuppressants.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
