Do Progestil And Estril Cause Any Side Effects?

Hii. My periods are delayed by 21 days . I have consulted a doctor and she provided me with medicines . The name is progestil and estril. I have to leave for my work in very remote area where even basic things are not there forget about the medical aid. I am very confused should I take these meds? Do they have any side effect ? General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. I see you are taking estro progestive contraceptives. They have side effects of hormone taking but your doctor has evaluated your situation and you have more benefits if you take them.

You cant take them if you have history of cancer or thrombosis.

Take care.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you.

Best regards. Dr.Olgeta Xhufka ( general and family physician )
