Do Robitussin And Blood Pressure Medications Interfere With Each Other?

I am a 62 YO male, I take meds for high blood pressure, I have taken Mucinex at 4:30 today, now i would like to take some Robitussin DM, to help with the chest congestion. Can the Robitussin DM cause problems with the BP meds, and can I take the Robitussin DM with the Mucinex. Thank You for your time

Hi. He cough med can cause a slight increase in bp. However as it will be taken for a short period of time it wouldn't be of any consequence. Take your bp med the same time you take your cough med. It will be better. Use steam inhalation. Recover soon. Take care.
