Do Tamoxifen And Letrozole Cause Any Long Term Side Effects?

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Had a mastectomy. Dr put me on tamoxifen for five years, then Letrozole another five. I went off them a month ago. My question is: are there any changes to my body to be expected after having my course of these meds? ?

Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that some of the common side effects of Tamoxifen are post menopausal syndrome like vaginal dryness, hot flashes and loss of libido. It can be controlled with the help of hormonal replacement therapy. Some common side effects of Letrizole are hair loss, bone pain and nausea.
