Animals do get heart attacks.Dogs are prone to cardiac diseases and arrhythmia.Dogs are prone for many cancers also.
For example , feeding dog with chocolates can cause arrhythmia which can be fatal.
many of the animals remain healthy as their life span is low , food habit is healthy (unlike humans) and risk factors are low.
