Do Birth Control Pills Cause Brown Discharge Through The Vagina?

I am on the birth control pill ortho tri cyclen lo, I ve been on it for nearly three months, I have the last hormone pill tonight. Today i started experiencing a light brown discharge that has a bad odor. I am sexually active but always wear a condom. I haven t experienced this before and I m not sure what to think. help.
