Do Chemicals In The Long Run Cause Adverse Effects To The Body?

I burned myself with this shit does the chemicals stay in your body, able to cause damage to bloodstream? Its been almost 15yrs since it happened & I now have a regurgitating heart valve in my left atrium but I was also born with a hole in my heart so the valve issue could be from that or doing drugs and writing too deeply cos sometimes I forget to breathe. Please let me know if there any side effects of prolonged chemicals in the body. Thank you, Sarah

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
It seems like you are quite anxious. Take it easy. Chemical burn 15 years ago won't be in your body hopefully. It's most likely your cardiac problem that causes regurgitation of blood through left atrium. Especially when it's symptomatic, it needs repair. Kindly see cardiologist for proper workup & management.
Thank you for contacting healthcare magic.
Have a good day Sarah !
