Do Cortisone Shots Cause Breakthrough Bleeding?

Do cortisone shots cause breakthrough bleeding? I received numerous shots along my hairline from my dermatologist...4 days later, I experienced vaginal bleeding. My original cycle just ended 3 days prior to me going to the dermatologist. Please advise if this is a common side effect.
