Do Diabetic Women Get Frequent Yeast Infections ?

I read in another post, the person wrote "I'm diabetic, so I get frequent yeast infections". Is it because she's diabetic? I've never heard of it either.

Diabetic people are known to get repeated infections, especially yeast and bacterail due to the high sugar levels. Sugar serves as a kind of growth medium where they can thrive well. So these people get predisposed to the infections.
