Do Disc Protrusions With Nerve Impingement Need Surgery?
MRI revealed 2-3 mm left paracentral disc protrusions at L3-4 and L4-5 levels elevating the posterior longitudinal ligament and impinging left nerve root exclusively t L4-5 and is symptomatic. If conservative pain management is not successful, is surgery necessary? Any recommendations?
