General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The black stool are usually related to an hemorrhage in the upper gastro intestinal tract. The energy drinks itself does not cause the hemorrhage but they can trigger the symptoms. I suggest to do an endoscopy and consult you general physician for further examinations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
