Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Do Episodes Of Rage And Pill-rolling Tremors Whenever Anxious Require Medical Attention?
Does rolling your fingers together like you are trying to snap your fingers a sign of anxiety or Parkinson, or Alzheimers. We have symptoms of personality changes, fits of rage, agitation, depression, urine leaking. I have noticed him doing this when he is anxious.
Parkinson's disease symptoms are not such episodic and the tremors are mostly at rest. Alzeimers also do not produce such episodic symptoms. So these changes most likely are related to some psychological diseases that may need evaluation. However, the urine leaking and the burst episodes may also be caused by other neurological diseases. So I would like he should be assessed by a nueralogist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
