Do Folic And Chromium Medications Help In Weight Loss?

Hello Sir, My wife is having irregular period. I have consulted two doctors. One has asked to reduce her weight, as she was slightly obese (Need to reduce 8 Kgs approx.). Another doctors has asked to reduce the weight and prescribed folic and chromium tablets. Also we are not planning for baby for next 3 months. Apart from reducing weight should she take the tablets too?

Hi

The tablets need to be started at least 3 months prior to the initiation of conception, so yes you need to take the supplements along with the advised weight loss.
