Do Gallbladder Stones Need Any Precautions During Pregnancy?

Doctor i m 5 months pregnent, its my 1st issue. I hv been asked for LFT test and report says :my Billi Rubine is 1.2,SGPT is 289, SGOT is 171 and Alklyene phos is 291. And in the USG i had a stone in GB of 13.7 mm.Plz suggest me the precautions and line of treatement.

Thanks for posting your query. I understand your concerns.
Stone in the gallbladder doesn't require any surgical line of management until and unless it is causing severe pain. If you are having pain on the right side of you abdomen, you are expected to undergo cholecystectomy.

As you are in your second trimester, it is safe to undergo surgery.

If you are a symptomatic, you can undergo surgery after the delivery.
