Do Grey Tick Bites Cause Nerve Damage?

my husband had a grey tick on his side I took it off I think it was on him a couple of days it is swollen around where I pulled it off. I got the head off with it. it had three legs on one side.could it cause nerve failure or hard to use your leg to walk?it has been a couple of days. I got it off today.could it be a deer tick?

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, rarely tick bite caused Lyme disease which may cause nerve involvement however a neurologist review and detailed motor examination of lower limb should be done. Also he may need brain imaging like CT brain etc.
