Do Hypothyroidism And Tiredness Affect My Sexual Life?

hii doc. i have hypothroidism and iam taking 50mg tablets i feel very lethargic throughout my day and major constipation issues.. my nerves became very week and i feel almost faint sometimes.poor concentration and headches. going to get married .does it effect my sexual life too...because sometimes i dont feel it.. regards madhu

All the symptoms you mentioned above in you query are due to hypothyroidism. Generally fatigue, constipation, cold hypersensitivity, dry skin etc are the common symptoms of lack of the thyroid hormone.
Sometimes it may affect even your sexual life and your humor causing decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, impotence, and depression.

I think the dose you are taking to cure that condition may be not sufficient.
You may need to raise the dose of the medicament. Leave an appointment with the doctor who has prescribed you that, or better with the endocrinologist to adjust the dose.
Taking the right dose will help you feel better and remove all these symptoms that affect your everyday life.
