Do Inflammation And Slight Itching Sensations Post Having Sex Indicate Yeast Infection?

Hi, My husband and I recently started having sex again. I feel a burning sensation and a tad bit of itching down yonder. I looked inside of myself and do not have any white discharge. Can it still be a yeast infection? Oh and I know for a fact my husband hasn t cheated and we use condoms.

Hi;

Using condom during sexual intercourse greatly reduces risk of sexually-transmitted diseases. However; genital areas which are not covered with condom still may cause transmission. You must watch yourself for any discharge; and check for recent condom changes for any kind of allergic reaction. Also, I suggest vaginal hygiene products rather than classical products. If vaginal discharge occurs (white, green or water-like), you may need oral antibiotics/anti-fungal agents.

May you recover soon
