hi i am 9th week pregnant hb value is 8.1 i am taking prenatal supplements and iron tablets niferex.my doctor is suggested that to take iron injections to increase hb value.iron injections are safe to baby. suggest me best possible way other than this injections thank you alekhya

Hi, I think you should not take iron injection in 1st trimester. Also avoid taking iron supplements in 1st trimester. You can take pomegranate, beet, spinach to increase the hemoglobin level. Iron injections are safe after 1st trimester.
