Do Kidney Stones Cause Severe Abdominal Pain?

I was just told I have kidney stones. I have been having pains in the abdomen areas and also been having shortness of breath and my chest tightens up when doing physical activities and stress related. I have had tests on my lungs and heart and they came out fine. Could the kidney stones be causing my physical problems?

Hi,

Pain from kidney stones can radiate to back side and abdomen as well. There is a possibility that it can radiate to the chest but in your case, it seems more from stress as you itself say. Pain in chest often precipitates by anxiety or stress.

There is nothing to worry get yourself examined by a physician to find the size of stones and accordingly treatment plan can be initiated and you will recover. You also relax and don't take stress as soon as you relax your chest pain will subside as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
