I m a 24 year old female, I was diagnosed with a kidney and bladder infection today and this evening I had extreme pain that lasted for several minutes and a little later I found a little blood before I urinated and a lot at the end could this be kidney or bladder stones?
Hello dear Understand your concern Yes stone can cause vaginal bleeding but it mat be associated with other causes like: Lower urinary tract infection (cystitis) and kidney infection. Vaginal infection I advice you take following advice:Investigation needed- Urine routine, microscopic and culture, USG scan and vaginal swab test. Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. Take antibiotic according to your culture report. Tablrt pyridium plus nitrozolium. Syrup sodium citrate. Kidney stone treatment depend on the site and size of the stone. Small stone can be removed by diuretics. Specific treatment require for large stone. So consult the urologist and get the proper examination and take treatment. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
