Do Lesions In The Thoracic Spine Cause Numbness In The Right Leg?

I have lesions, 3 of them, on my thorasic spine. My Neuro says they are nothing to worry about, but I am not sure. I have some nerve damage, found in an EMG, in my thigh area, but have not located the source of it. My right leg is either going completely numb or feels as though it is buckling on me. It kills me to go to a sitting position or to a standing one.I just wonder if my lesions could have anything to do with this. I have had every test imaginable, yet nothing appears. Yet I can be walking down the hall and fall because of the numbness.Any suggestions would be appreciated.I am seeing my Neuro tomorrow morning. Thank you for your time!

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Lesions of spine can compress or injure the nerves.
The compression or injury to the nerve manifests itself as numbness or altered sensation in the region supplied by that nerve.
The region where symptoms are felt depends on the site of compression of the spinal nerves.
The nature and site of lesions in the spine need to be known to assess the clinical situation.
From the history provided by you it is only evident that there is presence of some kind of lesions in the spine but the nature is not known.
Thus, you can consult your neurology specialist for assessment of the nature of lesions and their management.

Thanks and take care
