Do Mild Chest Pain, Sore Throat And Back Pain Suggest TB?

Hi doctor. my brother was diagnosed with Bi-apical PTB, i was exposed to him before he took his antibiotics. after a week of being exposed to him, i had a flu symptoms ( sore throat, fever and colds) Does that mean that i was infected also? Today, I m experiencing mild chest pain, shortness of breath and back pain. But i don t have cough which is the major symptom of tb. I went to a pulmonogist and had a chest X-ray, the doctor said it was clear and no sign of mucus. but I m still bothered.

Thank you fro contacting HCM with your health care concerns. You have fever and cough after being with your brother who has pulmonary TB. I recommend that you be seen by your medical provider and get tested because any household contacts with your brother nay have been exposed. I doubt that your current symptoms are related to TB but there is no way to tell without being seen.
