Do Mild Fever And Bleeding Lips Post Injury In Children Require Medical Attention?
Hi my 8 month old baby fell off the bed lastnight and burst her lip when i picked her up her mouth was bleeding,am terrified! Now today her forehead is warm and she s acting cranking and crying for breast more than usual,it seems she s getting a fever, should i have taken her to the ER ? Or paediatrician? I need advice
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having deep injury on her lip with feverish feeling shows that there might be having infection. In this condition she requires attention and should go to ER. She might require one or two stitches on lip and a course of antibiotic medicine. Ok and take care.
