Do Pain In Right Lower Back, Abdomen And Hip With Harder Stools Suggest Appendicitis?
Hi . It started last Saturday where my right lower back was hurting so bad that I could barely get off the couch and I had to use my left elbow on my left knee to get up from a sitting position which has never happened before. Then yesterday, Sunday I had pain on the right side all day ( right abdominal , right hip and right back) but I could get off the couch and the back pain was not as severe as last Saturday I do NOT have diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, a fever or chills but it seems that my bowel movements are harder. I attributed that to a colonoscopy (for bright red blood in the stool which the dr indicated the colonoscopy revealed I had internal hemorrhoids and 1 small polyp that was negative for cancer when biopsy was done) that I had about a month ago thinking it was due to anesthesia but I doubt that the harder stool should still be occurring. The stool is not hard all the time but more often than it normally is for me. I read about appendicitis online and wonder if I have that. I know not everyone has the same symptoms and I read where many people have been misdiagnosed with gastroenteritis. I have had blood work twice since January and all the results are normal. I had abdominal pain and had a transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound and a C125 blood test 2 months ago and everything was fine . I know it is not muscle pain because I have mild fibromyalgia. Please advise. Thank you.
