Do Painless Bumps On The Palate Require Medical Attention?

Hi, I have several tiny painless bump on one side of the roof of my mouth. I had a sore throat for about a week which went away a couple of days ago. While my throat was sore I noticed this same area was tender to the touch. I assumed I had a virus/tonsillitis. I just noticed the bumps there today though.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain bumps on one side of the palate that are present since you have got viral infection in throat and are present still can be due to infection only and not a sign of any severe illness..

As the active symptoms have now subsided but still the bumps are present indicates that there has been infection and it is reduced but will take some time to resolve..

Nothing to worry, you can start gargling with antiseptic mouthwash..
Do warm saline gargles..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..
In case of no improvement in a week consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
