Do Reduced Hearing And Blocked Ear Post Being In Water Correct On It Own?

Wednesday I stuck my head under water to wash hair in sink. I felt the ear close when the water went in ear. I have about 50% hearing in the right ear. There is also that full feeling. No other symptoms. No pain, dizziness etc.. I was able to get a good bit of wax out of that ear, certainly more that normal. Doctor(friend) said just give it time and it should open back. Any suggestions?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, better to see the ENT for clinical examination because water need to be socks out if it is ever inside the ear and if this is not the water inside then audiogram need to be tested, but condition need to be taken seriously, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
