HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Viral cough and cold can be associated with aches and pain. Persistent coughing can cause chest pain.

The treatment would consist of the medication that you are likely using- decongestants, antihistamines, cough suppressants and pain medication.
If you are not using these meds, then you should consider starting. They are over the counter and may be in combination.

If you are only using an oral decongestant, you can add a topical decongestant to this eg otrivine. Steam inhalation would also help with the congestion.

If you are currently doing all of these, with no improvement then you should see a doctor for assessment and treatment.

I hope this helps
