Do Severe Muscle Spasms On The Abdomen Suggest Heart Attack?

2 months ago and very suddenly - it felt like a muscle in my upper stomach had a severe Charlie horse. I couldn t move for 5 minutes, very shallow breathing. Then I started sweating profusely and the sweating lasted for 4 or 5 hours. I became very weak and dizzy but experienced no nausea or vomiting. I did have pain under my left shoulder blade. Without health insurance, I didn t go anywhere and have been o.k ever since. I m 57 and I am very healthy, very muscular. Was this a heart attack?

Hi,

It could be minor heart attack that is myocardial infarction or Angina. You need to investigate with Echocardiography or EKG to rule out MI. Your blood pressure and sugar also should be checked. So, It could be heart attack or angina. You can revert back with reports once done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
